Homework #1 is to be turned in for grading on Tuesday, September 10.  (.tex file)  (Please complete Problem 1-1 for Tuesday, September 3, or ASAP.)
Homework #2 is to be prepared for presentation on Tuesday, September 17. (.tex file)
Homework #3 is to be turned in for grading on Thursday, September 26.  (.tex file)
Homework #4 is to be prepared for presentation on Thursday, October 3.  (.tex file)

Exam 1 is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, 2013. In preparation for the exam, I have compiled exam topics and practice problems. We will be having a Question and Answer session on Thursday, October 10, 2013, during which time you can ask questions about topics from the class and questions from this and previous problem sets.

Reminder: Send your poster proposal to Prof. Chris by email before class on Tuesday, October 29.

Here is last year's exam 2. Realize that you have not seen the material from Questions 1bc or 5a.
